In 1992, Houndstooth Clothing Company opened for business in a small storefront just off the downtown square in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Houndstooth t-shirts became a hit with students at the university, and word spread as these students carried the brand beyond Fayetteville.
In 1999, Houndstooth began producing a line of licensed apparel for Razorback fans and soon secured a strong following. Houndstooth shirts from the Razorback collection are a "must have" for the true Hog fan.
Original Houndstooth designs have their own passionate following with themes that communicate with customers on a personal level. Product lines that celebrate the golden age of sport, the great outdoors, and vintage American style have made loyal patrons of the Houndstooth faithful.
Houndstooth continues to build on its reputation for unique design and quality construction. Products are now available at seven company owned retail locations (including the original location at 29 N. Block Ave. in Fayetteville), and through this website.
